THE PROCESS

DRY

Flowers are dried before being put in resin. We use special drying agents instead of air drying to help preserve their natural shape and color. This process, depending on the type of flower and method used, may take multiple weeks. It is normal for colors to change slightly. Whites often yellow a bit and reds tend to darken. If your flowers are already dried, that's fine too!

POUR

The resin pouring process begins. Each piece is meticulously poured over multiple thin layers and kept pressurized to prevent bubbles. Pours must be timed properly one after the other for proper bonding which often takes one or more days' work and may even involve waking up to pour in the middle of the night.

TOPCOAT & POLISH

Each piece is recommended to be finished with a protective topcoat which is then polished. This helps prevent scratches, protects against damaging UV rays, and adds a glossy shine.
